Meet the Staff

Edward Depp, Director / Developer

Ed has served as the Director / Developer for Mahaffey Camp and Conference Center since 2001.  Having a dedication to the camp ministries and the vision for its year-round expansion, Ed began serving as a member of the Board of Directors in 1993.  During Ed’s tenure as Director / Developer, the expansion of camp ministries has multiplied with facility upgrades including the Dorm 5 renovation, the building of the soccer field/recreation area, the sewage project completion, expansion of the RV areas and three new restroom complexes.  Along with the facility upgrades, the camp programming has expanded to include multiple weeks of Youth Camps and retreats spanning eleven months of the year.  Ed relates that one of the greatest joys in camp ministry is witnessing campers maturing in their walk of faith and being trained as leaders for the next generation.  Camp sponsored mission trips have enabled Ed to lead more than 250 teens and adults on weeklong trips to spread the gospel.

As a member of the Allegheny Section of the Christian Camping and Conference Association, Ed serves along with his wife, Nancy, as the Member Assimilation Coordinator on the Allegheny Section Cabinet.  Outside of his camp ministry responsibilities, Ed enjoys leading a small group Bible Study.  His community involvement includes serving as the President of the local Mahaffey Municipal Authority.

Nancy Depp, Program Coordinator

Nancy serves as Program Coordinator for Mahaffey Camp and Conference Center.  She has served in camp ministries for nearly two decades, first as a volunteer, then transitioning twelve years ago to a full time staff member.  Married to her high school sweetheart, she partners in ministry with her husband, Ed as they serve the Lord together at the camp.  The mother of two daughters, she rejoices in her family’s rich heritage of faith and personal relationships with the Lord that has spanned five generations of Mahaffey Family Camp attendees.  Nancy delights in spending time with her six grandchildren.  Balancing the busy role of Director’s wife along with a leadership staff position, Nancy finds one of her most valuable assets is maintaining spiritual perspective along with a keen sense of humor at the forefront.  As a member of the Allegheny Section CCCA Cabinet, Nancy serves as the Member Assimilation Coordinator.

Milea Reynolds, Youth Ministries Coordinator

Milea oversees the youth programs at Mahaffey Camp as the Youth Ministries Coordinator.  She has a passion for seeing today’s youth challenged to deepen their commitment to the Lord and step out in faith for Him.  She has worked with youth in several different mediums in the past, including working as a church youth leader / outreach organizer and teaching Sunday School in elementary and high school levels.  She has also had experience working with college students as a leader in the Clarion University Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Milea currently works throughout the school year as a high school teacher for the Punxsutawney Christian School, balancing her teaching career with her camp one.  Some of her hobbies include music, reading/writing, swimming, biking, long distance running, hiking, and just spending time in nature.  Milea’s vision is to see more and more teens finding their way to camps like Mahaffey, where they will be equipped with the power and motivation to reach the lost.

Sharon Voris, Bookkeeper

Sharon Voris works at the Mahaffey Camp Office as Bookkeeper and also as Secretary at Mahaffey Alliance Church. In her spare time she enjoys reading and time with family.

Russell Selfridge, Maintenance Employee

Russ Selfridge has served as the full time Maintenance Employee since 1996.  Russ maintains the camp grounds, assisting with building and construction projects to the camp owned buildings, along with countless other endeavors.  A friend to all at Mahaffey Camp, he enjoys ministering to everyone through his hard work. He especially appreciates the many volunteers who come to camp and work alongside of him at the many projects always in progress.  Russ and his wife, Karen, are parents to 4 children and grandparents to 4 grandchildren. Outside of camp, Russ has a broad range of interests and hobbies.
