2024 Schedule of Camps

Since the year 2000, Mahaffey Camp has offered a variety of different summer youth camps and specialty camps for children and teens in grades 1-12. Our campers are provided with an enriching camp experience, combining action-packed recreation, high-energy worship, engaging messages and Bible study, and other hands-on activities.
All youth camps are managed by full-time camp staff, as well as camp directors, volunteers, and well-trained counselors. Our goal is to provide our campers with a refreshing break from their busy lives, as well as a safe and well-rounded experience in the camp environment. At Mahaffey Youth Camps, campers are challenged to dive deeper into God’s Word, explore the outdoors, and make lifelong friendships, all under the mentorship of caring counselors and staff.
All of our camps are overnight camps. All camps are weeklong, except Young Explorers Camp (two nights only). Campers may choose to attend grade-level camps based on the grade they just finished or the one they will be entering in the fall. Campers are welcome to attend more than one camp during the summer as long as they meet the age requirements for each camp.

Teen Camp
Grades 9 – 12
Teen Camp is a week filled with endless adventure. Complete with profound messages, high energy worship, recreation, crafts, and thrilling late night activities, Teen Camp is a week you won’t forget! Make meaningful memories with friends and mentors as you dive deep into God’s Word and grow in your faith.
Junior Camp
Grades 6 – 8
Junior camp is a fun-filled week of engaging speakers, lively worship, and exciting activities. Come enjoy a unique environment of encouragement and positive mentoring specifically constructed for Middle School students. Junior Camp is the perfect week for campers to make lasting friendships and go deeper into God’s Word!
Kids Camp
Grades 3 – 5
Kids Camp is an exciting weeklong camp designed especially for the elementary-aged camper. This week features a busy schedule full of crafts, games, Wacky Water Day, music, and meaningful messages. Kids will have a great time making new friends, learning to work as a team, and growing in their own walk of faith.
Young Explorers Camp
Grades 1 – 2
Young Explorers Camp is the perfect introduction to overnight camp for our youngest campers. This camp is only two nights long – allowing your child to gain independence and confidence as they try out camp just for a short while. The schedule is packed full of endless fun: crafts, games, memory verse activities, dynamic music, and messages designed for young campers.
Soccer Camp
Grades 4 – 10
At Soccer Camp, campers will improve their skills and become better disciples of Christ. Soccer Camp is broken down into conditioning, technical, and tactical aspects of the game. Open to players from beginner to intermediate, Soccer Camp can help all campers take their game to the next level, as they develop both physically and spiritually.
Basketball Camp
Grades 5 – 9
In team sports, it’s important to “keep your eyes on the prize.” At Basketball Camp, you’ll learn how both basketball and life require discipline and self-control to be at your best and play the game to completion. Open to boys and girls of all skill levels, this weeklong camp includes conditioning, drills, scrimmaging, and fun teambuilding activities in a positive environment that encourages good sportsmanship.
Adventure Camp
Ages 14 – 18
Adventure Camp is a week packed with exciting recreational opportunities. The schedule is filled with highly physical, outdoor activities and off-campus excursions, all surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation in nature. Campers participate in a variety of activities that change year-to-year; some past adventures have included kayaking, hiking, waterfalls, caves, nerf gun battles, animal parks, and more. You can expect to make thrilling memories at Adventure Camp!
Worship Camp
Grades 9 – 12
New in 2024! Worship Camp is all about cultivating a heart of worship. Come dive into the Biblical meaning of worship, spend time worshipping through music and prayer, and learn what it means to worship God in all areas of life. Come prepared for lots of community-based activities, like group worship sessions, discussions, team games, and tons of fun! Campers should bring any of their own instruments needed.
Horse Camp
Ages 10 – 17
Horse Camp is a week devoted to developing basic skills and knowledge necessary for a safe and enjoyable riding experience. Campers will learn how to care for horses, experience hands-on learning in stable management, and receive one hour of riding instruction each day. No previous riding experience is needed to attend. Each camper is to bring their own boots and helmet. The camp has a limited number of extra helmets. Come join us for a week of learning about and enjoying God’s Creation from horseback!
Creative Arts Camp
Grades 6 – 10
Creative Arts Camp is the perfect camp for anyone who loves to express themselves through artistic projects! Open to artists of all skill levels, you’ll have opportunity to work on your own talents while also developing new skills and studying new techniques. Participate in projects such as drawing, painting, and sculpting. Take part in daily devotions, games, and more! At Creative Arts Camp, you’ll be challenged in your artistic abilities and in your relationship with God.
STEM Camp
Ages 13 – 17
S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Camp is a cross curricular program bringing about a new perspective on God’s creation. Campers explore the mighty works of God through hands-on experiments and lessons. Special focuses include river ecology, nature hiking, chemical experimentation, electronics, mathematics, and more! Come study a variety of scientific fields and how they all point to God as powerful Creator.
