Several different meeting areas are available on the campground for guest group usage. When submitting an inquiry about hosting an event at camp, we will be able to work with you to determine which meeting area(s) will work best for your group’s purposes.
Dining Hall
This large facility area can be divided into a maximum of 5 meeting areas. Additionally, a small stage provides the ability to do large group presentations. Restrooms are located inside the building. Sound and video equipment is available as an extra request for an added fee.
Children’s Ministry Building
Our newly constructed Children’s Ministry Building includes a meeting space on both levels. Restrooms are located on the ground floor. These meeting areas work well for a small group discussion or presentation. A projector is available for usage for an added fee. Chairs are also available to set up.
Bookstore
Our Bookstore facility (attached to the Main Tabernacle) is the perfect place for small group meetings. Named because of its usage as a bookstore during Family Camp, the space provides an additional heated/air-conditioned meeting area year-round. The space can be set up in a variety of ways; chairs and tables are available to organize according to your needs. A projector is available for your usage for an additional fee. Restrooms are located inside the building.
Main Tabernacle
Mahaffey Camp’s Main Tabernacle is a large, open-air space with AV capabilities. The stage can accommodate a full band. The Main Tabernacle seats 900. This beloved building has housed our ten-day Family Camp for decades. Our Youth Camps worshiped in the space and hosted talent shows and movie nights all summer. Restrooms are located below the Main Tabernacle in the adjoining Bookstore.
