REPLENISH 2024: January 12 – 14
Join us for our annual winter youth retreat, REPLENISH! It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with your camp friends, or meet new ones! Whether you’re a longtime attendee or a first-timer to Mahaffey Camp, you’re sure to have an incredible weekend at REPLENISH.
The weekend includes worship services, messages from our main speaker, breakout seminars, team challenges, late night activities, plus recreation and craft options. Individuals are welcome to attend, as well as entire youth groups. Individuals not attending as part of a youth group will be assigned to a weekend leader and a team throughout the weekend.
Complimentary Attendance for Youth Leaders
For every 6 students attending from the same church group, 1 youth leader receives free attendance to the retreat. Additional youth leaders, and youth leaders attending with smaller groups are still welcome to attend at the regular registration rate. Discount ONLY applies to church groups and youth leaders currently serving within their church’s youth ministry. Youth leaders are responsible for directing their group throughout the weekend. Main Speaker: Pastor Joel Repic
Joel currently serves as the Church Multiplication Director for the Western PA District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He also co-directs a family of non-profit organizations, businesses as mission, and church plants called The Greenhouse Network. He lives in Aliquippa with his wife, Chelsea, and three kids where they have been involved in urban ministry and community development projects for almost 20 years.
Seminar Leaders
Becca Catherman
Becca, 21, from Clearfield, is almost always up for an adventure such as hiking, river tubing, camping or even a last-minute flight to Arizona with no luggage. She is an avid reader who also enjoys singing in the community choir and playing piano at church. Becca loves working in children’s ministry and is employed by Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Leah Potter
Leah has served in various ways at Mahaffey Camp over the past few years – such as leading worship at Replenish and directing Teen Camp last summer. She also serves at Dorseyville Alliance Church in the areas of worship, youth, and children’s ministries. Leah especially loves the relational aspects of ministry, and is passionate about finding ways to empower believers of all ages in ministry and outreach.
Josh Sykes
Josh has served in youth ministry at the Clearfield Alliance Church since 2014 and is now the Youth Leader of Refresh Youth Group. He is married to his bestfriend, Lorie. Josh gets excited about live worship music and the color orange.
Grace Williams
Grace is currently a freshman at Geneva College majoring in Biblical Studies. She is passionate about sharing the love of Christ and plans to do overseas missions work in the future. In her free time she enjoys thrifting, getting coffee with friends, and spending time with her friends and family.
Branden and Deanna Root
Branden and Deanna met in 2010 while they were both stationed in Hawaii with the military; Branden with the Navy and Deanna with the Army. Initially, faith did not play a major role in their lives but in 2011 when their first child was born they recognized their need to prioritize their faith and recommitted themselves to Christ and His service. Since then, they have served in multiple churches in various roles as they transferred from one duty station to the next. They have served together in youth ministry for over five years, most recently at Curwensville Alliance Church, and have over ten years of adult and military ministry together.
